Just dropping in again after a couple years of no posting. I've since, done nothing to the 69 in a long time and bought a 1999 Hugger Orange SS for a daily driver. Pulled the motor and did ported LS6 heads, 230/236TR cam and rod bolts, LS6 intake, Spec 3+ clutch etc etc.. I drag race it occasionally but mainly getting into open road racing. Done it 4 days of the past 2 months and have another day in 2 weeks!

Pics will follow...

And both factory Hugger orange. Currently looking for a 70 1/2 Hugger orange car and hopefully the new camaro comes in hugger orange of some type so I can order one of those when ready.

Not bad.. hope you got a new grill tho? not a big fan of the way the front looks without it.

Yea that pic is old. I like the way it looks MINUS the holes from the factory cover. It's how it was when I bought it. I now have a SLP SS grille waiting to go on, but I want to do it right and not just double sided tape so I'm waiting for time and weather. Also have a CME for it that needs the valence painted :)

Its about finished for how I want it for now.

:iceslolan Good man, you always, always hold out for good quality roll of duct tape :icon16:

Alright alright, seriously, not much of a fan of 4th gens overall, but that is nice.

I only got this for a daily really. I liked the fact that I have the first and Last year hugger orange...Now to just get my first gen painted back factory! I wasn't a big fan of the 4th gens till I got one. Something about 400+hp and 25-30mpg is nice!

Here is a little more current photo. I actually bought the grille very shortly before this was taken...I need to get around to doing more mods to my car and less maintenance!

Hard to tell but if you look past my gf's Mustang and my mom's MR2, you can see my old camaro in this photo. I took this on Thanksgiving day this year. Car has been sitting for almost 2 years now (drove it once this year, started right up and drop to and from the machine shop for a part we needed for the stang.

Can I quote that you had to take your 69 Camaro to get parts for your late model mustang? LOL :icon16:

Thanks, I was a little pissed that he took my spot...It was lunch and I just got off track (you can see my helmet hair, hadn't even put my hat on yet) and I pull up to this. First thing i did was jump out and make a bigger deal out of it than it was and was like "what the fuck is this? WHO TOOK MY SPOT?"

I wasn't too worried about it ofcourse but it made for a good picture :)
