1998 GTP TURBO 105000K Problems???

I am going tomorrow to look at a 1998 GTP TURBO 3800 to purchase maybe?Should I stay away from buying this car w/turbo w/105000k???What problems have they had?Are they reliable?I know the 3800 is a great motor just leary about the supercharged part.Let me know and thanks.

Hello out there any one know anything about these?Wheel bearings I have replaced,Multiswitchs,I know these cars have many problems.I just need to know the reliability of the turbocharged 3.8??If you have one.I know if its been serviced correctly just any other problems is what im wondering.Thanks!

I'm guessing you mean a supercharged GTP instead of a turbocharged GTP? Or does it have a turbo too? A supercharger and a turbo are 2 totally different things, clarify what you mean a little.

I'll assume you mean Supercharged, as there is no such thing as a 98 Turbo GTP.
The biggest issues with these cars are the transmission (especially in hot-rodded/abused examples), wheel bearings, electrical gremlins (ignition switch/harness, window motors, blower motor resistor) and fuel pump/resistors. The engine itself is virtually bulletproof, as we have many forum members with well over 200k miles, one with a GT non-supercharged has well over 300k miles.
