Add Methanol To Fuel?

I have a 1990 R-1500, 5.7L and want to add alcohol to the fuel. Fuel with any concentration of ethanol is not available in my area so I want to use methanol. I can get 99.9 % pure methanol for free from where I work. The problem that I have is that I do not have a manual so I do know what the max concentration is for MeOH. I assume that it is 3% by volume. I also plan to add some lucas fuel treatment at the same time.

Check you owners manual, I'm pretty sure they say specifically not to use methanol.

As stated in my original post, I do not have a manual. I am pretty sure that the max is 5% Methanol but am not sure. I also think that I can run up to 10% Ethanol and 20% MTBE.
