Welcome to AF, glad to have you on board. Coilover kit anyone? Also add your signature with the car you have (year, engine, drivtrain, times and mods.) helps let us know what your talkng about without having to ask the same questions over and over.

Welcome to AF.
There are many different suspention setups people use. I run Tokico springs and struts and they are great. Lowered about 2inches, rides good, not to stiff but handles great.
Search around some to see some other options

Welcome.
This forum has seperate sections for things like this (performance section).
about lowering. As long as you get a good name brand spring, or spring/shock combo you should be good. Just don't get those cheap ass do-do ebay slipover style coilovers.
The only lowering spring I have ever used is eibach and i like them so I suggest them. But other people have good results from brands like tokico and tein. Just get a good name brand, and you'll be straight

Hey dude, welcome.
A pretty standard setup consists of KYB AGX shocks with either Eibach Prokit or Sportline springs and I think thats the way I will end up going when it comes time for me. Theres a couple pretty decent suspension writeups in our Tech Articles section, I would suggest sitting down and reading those.

I think when he said not just springs he was talking about coilovers, but that's just my guess. I always recommend the Ground Control coilovers if you're looking for a decent price with great performance and a nice ride. They use an eibach spring so you know they'll last. Otherwise if you want to get a more expensive set, look into some Tein's, Megan Racing, or even some K-Sport ones. Like others said, do NOT get a non-brand name set, you'll will be sorry you did. They ride like absolute hell (speaking from personal experience) and take a toll on the rest of the suspension/car.
And welcome to AF. Just a side note, you'll find that a quick search will get you much faster results on such a generalized question.
