Okay. First things first. Which do you want? Turbo or "super"? A turbocharger IS a blower, just exhaust driven instead of belt driven.
Where does the 750 HP number come from? Is that the "race" version of the crater? If so, it will NOT like a blower of any description. You must start with an engine designed for the blower. That means the cookie-cutter approach is out of the question for a good BBC with any kind of blower. Compression ratio must be low enough, camshaft must be blower-specific, carbs, etc. This is not to say it can't be done. It IS to say, it's not advisable. It will live a very short life and die a horrible death!
If you're serious about wanting that much power, I advise you get together with the best engine builder in your town, and take his/her advice. Oh, and bring about two wheel-barrels FULL of money...(:- A job like this is neither cheap, nor for the "faint of heart".
