Power Lock Actuator Problem???

Recently my power locks have been acting up on my 2003 V-6 EX ACCORD Coupe. Sometimes the passenger side will not unlock/lock whenever I pressed the buttons on the remote. I decided to ride it out but months later my passenger door will not unlock/lock unless I physically togglethe door lock up and down. I am not able to lock/unlock it through the power lock button in the car either. Fortunately my driver side still locks and unlocks so I don't have to go all out old school and manually open the door. I am thinking it is the lock actuator but I am not completly sure. Any advice? I think it might be a hassle to repair too because I am not too good with electronics and wires. Not that I am lazy or anything, I just want the damn thing to work so I don't have to lean over the console to let someone in. So any ideas how much it would cost for an auto shop to fix it? :smokin:

I have a pdf file for the door lock actuator for 1997 Odyssey. Your car most likely will be different but the general idea should be the same. There is no way to attach a file here on this forum unfortunately. PM me and I will e-mail you this file. It is only 971 KB.

Good luck,

Sam
