From everything I read, the bottom one is always at fault! I purchased the rebuild kits for the lower hinges through rockauto.com for about 5.00 per door. After reading more about it, I have been led under the impression that if they sag too far you are much better off replacing the hinge due to the pin hole being worn too bad to install the replacement bushings. My doors sag about a half inch and am assuming that they will not be rebuildable. The best price I have to date on the lower hinges is 70.00 per side from directfordparts.com. hope this helps in some way........

The lower hinge has all of the weight on it and therefore wears out the fastest. The top ones will wear but by replacing the bottom ones you can usually adjust the door to fit well. You can always try moving the lower hinge to see if you can adjust out the sag before you buy new a new hinge. Loosen the bolts that hold the hinge to the body and slide the hinge toward the rear of the car.
