Throttle Body swap

I have a 1985 Thunderbird with a 3.8 V-6 with a fuel injected throttle body.
I want to get rid of this P.O.S. and replace it with a standard carb. I am not sure if the intake is compatible with a 2 barrel or if I can replace the intake and get a 4 barrel carb.
Has anyone done this and is it possible with out causing problems with the computer? It has a digital dash that I like and don't want to loose.
All other parts are new including the engine but it seems to have no power and it runs rough on cold mornings but seems fine when it warms up. Not sure if this is a symptom of the carb or maybe a temp sensor.
I just figured the power issue might be solve by the carb swap.
Any thoughts?
