Turn Signal Help

Hey guys. Just recently my rear turn signal went out, and at the same time, my front turn signal blinks extremely fast. What is wrong, and how do I go about fixing this myself.

When one of the signal lamp burns out the opposing lamp on the same side will blink fast so that is normal. Try replacing the lamp/bulb not working first.
