temp gauge and more...please help

My girlfriend's temp gauge has moved to the other side towards the speedometer and will not go back into regular position. Would I have to replace the temp gauge now or could i just take the dash off and move it back? Also the speedometer is now stuck at 10mph and will not go down?

Several of us are having this problem.
It must be more wide spread than I thought.
Maybe a defect?
