This may not be close to the problem but it sounds like what happened to my 91 grand prix. I had full coolant and everything but it kept overheating. I took it to a mecahnic 2 times in one day before they found out that it needed a new head gasket.......shoot me. I ended up buying a new engine and sellin it for a honda civic....good luch with the problem bro..

If you cant fins a leak anywhere check your tail pipe after the cars been running for 15 minutes or so if theres still more than condesation its prolly a head gasket you can also take off your radiator cap after the engine is cool and then start it up if you get a fountain of coolant then its definatly the headgasket but watch the coolent level it should bubble for a few minutes no more then ten if it keeps bubbling like theres air escaping then then it could be the headgasket also headgaskets suck it runined my 90 teg i know for the 90 teg just the head gasket kit cost 200 but definatly get it fixed and dont drive on it cause you could warp the head which is like anouther 400 600 without labor all if it aint any of that then yeah id say it might be the belts but if your losing coolent and you cant see where then its prolly worse news than a belt
almost forgot you can get a presure tester at about any general car store it goes on your radiator and it can tell you if your losing compresion through the head it cost about 20 bucks if you can find one with the small attachment to fit imports realativly small radiator cap thats how the mechanics test it and itll save you about 80 bucks
Screw punctation i dont breath when i talk so i aint gonna use a period in a sentance
