I saw a picture in the magazine about a car painted in a marble pattern months ago. Do anyone know the trick to do this paint ?

Scale Auto Enthusiast had a how to on this a few years bak. If I still have the mag I'll dig it out. I think it involved spraying paint on to water and then immersing the car. However, I think you needed the right kind of paint, and may be add something to the water.

Probably requires an airbrush, and MANY shades of the same color.

My search brought up this as what marble paint looks like. IMO it's a disgrace what they did to it :(

What abt getting those marbling kits at art shops then coating the car with clear before polishing it?

Ive done a marble job on Hot Wheels and what I did was fairly easy to do but messy. Spray the base coat silver, then pour your top coat in some plastic wrap. Take your car body and place it in the plastic wrap. Flip the body back over and leave the plastic wrap on top and move the wrap around mixing the top coat with the silver. Take off the wrap and look at the results. If the marble look is wrong put more paint and repeat. Its more of a art that an exact science.
