I want to go with a set of heads that have these specs:

Ford GT40P 289/302/
60cc Combustion Chamber
Pedastall Type Rockers Used
Positive Oil Control Seals
5 Angle Valve Job
Stainless 1 Piece Swirl-Polished Under-Cut Stems 1.940” Intake Valves
Stainless 1 Piece Swirl-Polished Under-Cut Stems 1.540” Exhaust Valves
AWSF-32C Spark Plug
Springs Good to .550” Lift, (Hyd. Roller) *check cam manufactures specs for compatibility*
(129 psi @ 1.800” / 280 psi @ 1.300”)
and a Ford Racing E303 cam 2500-5500 rpm range

What size roller rockers should I buy 1.6 or 1.7?, I want to know if 1.7 would work and how much horsepower should I get from 1.7 compared to the 1.6?
Also what size pushrods should I get with either one?

Ok, you gave use some info but we still need more details. Stock bottom end? What heads (valve location/angle could make a difference)? The TFS I cam is designed for 1.6 rockers. 1.7 rockers might help but you have small heads so you wont feel a difference. I doubt it would be worth any piston modifications. As far as the pushrods go that will be up to you to figure out. You will need a pushrod length checker. Then color the top of a valve with a sharpie and install 1 rocker on the valve. Install the rocker to spec and then turn the motor over by hand. Adjust the length checker until you get a wear pattern that is centered on the valve stem. Then measure the length checker and you have the length pushrod that you need.

Your combo is pretty close to the one I am presently running with the new ride. 1.7 roller rockers will raise your rpm band about 250rpm. But going back to what 351wstang was saying. What type of head are your running. That cam with 1.6 rr will do nothing for you if your running stock heads, let alone 1.7rr

As far as I'm concerned any small/stockish after market head or ported E7 will see little to no benefit from the 1.7's over 1.6's. I made the power in my sig at about 6,000 rpms with a F303 camshaft on 1.6 rockers.
