autostart on a 92 ranger??

hi all..i have a 1992 ford ranger with a 5 speed..can i put a autostart on it?I was told if i disconnect the neutral swich a have the brake on when i autostart it i would be ok..is this true??i would love some feedback before i try it..THANKS FOR ANY INFO!! ~Jim~

If you want to leave your car parked with just a parking brake that could fail. and if you accidentilly left it in gear like is supposed to be done the car could start going down the road on its own. I have no doubt there is a way to make this work but I highly doubt it would be legal or safe
