oil clearing code

My buddy has either an 06 or an 07 chevy cobalt and the dealer forgot to reset his oil life on his dash after changing his oil and i was wondering if anyone knows the code/combination to reset it. i know on my dads z71 its a combo of like the brake and the buttons on the steering wheel and im guessing there has to be something like that for his car. thanks

The oil life monitor is reset through the buttons on the steering wheel. You place the key to run (engine not running) and toggle through the options with the steering wheel buttons. One option will be OLM reset.
