2007 2LT coupe question

Hey, I just bought a 2007 2lt coupe (silver) I've noticed that my cobalt has black covers on the bumper where a fog light would go, however, almost every cobalt I see on the road that doesn't have log lights has a solid body-colored bumper rather than the black plastic pieces. I don't have fog lights, so I just thought that was weird. Why do I have black plastic pieces and others have a solid colored bumper??

My silver 2007 4dr LS has the body colored 'vents' where fog lights would go. I just thought it was an LS vs. LT thing, LT having the 'upgraded' blacked out covers. Another thought is maybe it's a 2dr vs. 4dr thing?
