hey i've got a 94 ford tbird and i was wanting to swap my heads to the pi heads. i've read that they won't just bolt on to the 94 motor though. does anyone know what you gotta do to make them fit? or are there a set or aftermarket heads that just bolt on? everything i seem to find is for 96 or 97 models. thanks for the help

Ok i read about the PI head swap, sounds fun. But what hoild be alot easier Doing the Head swap or installing a engine of a 01'-04' mustang whit the PI heads and PI intake already on. or would ther be problems whit hte computer>?

there would be some problems with the computer. as for the engine compartment.. id go for the cobra engine.. its slightly smaller that the 4.6 out of the gt's. what would be better is if you can find a 96-97 MN12(tbird) in a junkyard because some idiot didnt know how to replace his head gaskets and junked the car.. lol ive seen it happen. its how i got my cobra motor.. all i did was machine the heads because he overheated the car when he blew the gaskets.. if you know the cheap junkyards the engine should be about $200-300 if u can find a whole one =)

What is "slightly smaller" about the Cobra engine?

its a short block... its atleast 1''-1 3/4'' shorter than the gt's 4.6. idk maybe its because mines an 03' instead of 01-02. but it is shorter
