Hello! I am new here and like what I see. Seems to be very helpful information back and forth. I have not had my GTP long - almost a year - but absolutely love it! I have a question...

I recently noticed that when I go over speed bumps at work (always very slowly) that the front end bounces slightly and doesn't seem to take bumps in the road as well as it used to. Does this mean that the struts need to be replaced? My GTP has 111,000 miles on it.

If the struts need to be replaced, do you have suggestions or is there even options for struts?

THANKS!

Welcome to AF!!

The struts could need to be replaced given the mileage on the car. If you replace the struts stick with a name brand like Monroe whick are probably one of the best on the market. There are others like Koni but the monroe's are accessable anywhere. I don't suggest you try to change them yourself as you need a special compressor to compress and remove the springs. You will also need an alignment after the replacement.

Before you go to the expense of changing the struts you may want to have a reputable mechanic check the car over and evaluate them first. It would be a lot less expensive.
