96 Explorer - Fuel Pump?

I have a 1996 Explorer with the 4.0 engine. The engine will crank over but it is not firing. When I turn the key I do not hear the fuel pump running. I can feel the relay click so I don't think that's it. There is no pressure at the fuel rail test port.

Is there anything else I should check before replacing the fuel pump?

How difficult of a job is it? I've changed one on my GMC previously so I'm guessing that it's probably similar.

hello out side of ck for voltage at pump.it sounds like ur right on bad fp if you did one on the gmc then you no what to expect.good luck
