The radio on my Caravan quit working after I replaced the A/C fan motor Resistor Block. There are two lights on the front/rear and left/right slide switches that blink, so I assume there is power going to the radio. I checked for a fuse on the fuse block and could not find a fuse for the radio, only an ACCESSORY RELAY, and it's OK. If there is a fuse, where is it located? If the fuse is OK, why does the radio not work? I have ALLDATA - no help there.
Any Ideas?????

Check the IOD fuse under the hood . You should have pulled the battery cables if you were working on the resistor block , I have heard of people blowing out the radio when this is not done . Hopefully its something else , factory replacement is like $300 . Better off getting something like a Alpine if you need to replace it .

OK, here's what iv'e found out so far. The radio stopped working after I changed the "Resistor Block" under the glove box. After disconnecting the battery and removing the IOD fuse and the BCM fuses, the radio still doesn't work. There is still power to the radio because the amber lights on the equalizer are blinking, and the backlights on the knobs are lit, so it's not a fuse problem (IMO). Iv'e been reading the forums and a number of people have had the same problem. It's been suggested that the radio may have some sort of "Theft Lock" system and may need to have some sort of "key" to unlock it. One post suggested it may be the "power supply" for the radio that is bad, but why would the lights on the radio work then? Another post suggested that "Condensation from the A/C vents above the radio" shorted out something in the radio. Ive not heard anyone say "I had the exact same problem and this is how I fixed it". I don't want to replace the radio if there is nothing wrong with it other than puting some sort of "code" into the computer to unlock it. Iv'e allready had the transmission apart replacing the Range Sensor because the engine wouldn't turn over, only to find out that I was using a duplicate key instead of the original key with the chip in it.:banghead: Anyone have any answers???
