Blinkers, do you mean directional signals or 4-ways, or both??? Could just be the multi-function switch is bad, you know, the turn signal lever,,, go buy yourself a code reader for your car, will be obdI, about 30 bucks or so, you have eec4 system.. reader is easy to learn how to use. Will give you codes from the blinking light.. the airbag light is flashing a code repeatedly.. watch it carefully and you will see a pattern being repeated.. catch it at startup.. code 32. example, would be: flash flash flash-pause-flash flash..

You can pull the engine diagnostic code without a code reader, all you need is a short piece of wire to jumper the Selt Test Output wire. However, if you aren't pretty comfortable around cars or with electrical, spending the $20-$30 on the fool-proof device may be a good route to go.

I agree with TaurusKing that the issue with your turn signals/directional indicators/blinkers is probably a multifunction switch.

The airbag code is probably a clockspring issue in the steering column, but getting the Lamp Fault Code as TaurusKing described will help narrow that down as well.
