Is my 04 Malibu Classic Falling Apart Already?

OK, my front right end started making a squeaky bed spring type of noise when I went over some speed bumps at my apartment complex the other day. I've just started to notice that the rear does it a little too. Is this a problem with the rubber bushings or the shocks or both or what? I need to make sure I'm not ripped off. I'm a single Mom starting all over right now and have barely enough to scrape by on at this point. But, I need a car that is safe (obviously) to drive. My car is an '04 Malibu Classic with close to 75000 miles on it. It's been a great car but have just started to notice different odd things going wrong with it. I'll go into the other things on a different thread after I hear more about this. Thanks, All!

go to the suspect area(right front) and bounce it up and down by hand. if you hear any squeaks and/or a slight thump, is a good possibility is strut mount. biggest problem with giving advice on sound/squeak issues is not hearing it myself. does it only happen on bumps, or is it a squeaking that get worse with speed even on a smooth road? the more info the better chance we can help ya. let us know!

*****Thanks Hippy, It only does it on bumps. Not when riding along on a smooth road. And it doesn't do it every time. I will go outside in a bit and bounce it up and down and see. I took it to Firestone yesterday and even with an appointment, they took in several cars that showed up after me but never took mine in so I just got my keys and left. They didn't seem to give a crap. I'm concerned about mine and my child's safety.
