i have a 1968 nova with the stock wheels and tires. i want to put on Cragar rims (15x7) with 4-1/8 rear spacing. all the way around with 215-60-15 B.F goodrich tires. can anyone tell me from experience that i will not have any rubbing issues? i cant return the rims once ive put tires on them, so says Jegs . com where im getting the rims.

Welcome aboard Raideral.

The overall diameter of the BFG tire is 25.2 inches. Make a cardboard cutout disc of this size and center it on your current tire. (cut out a flat spot so it won't hit the ground)
As for turning, the BFG will be about 9 inches wide. Measure your original wheel and tire width, turn your current wheel to both lock positions and check to see if the difference will make contact. Add about 1" extra for braking or turning under load.
Hope this helps. Maybe someone else here can give actual experience with this exact tire size. For what it's worth, 235/60/15's rubbed at times on my '65 Chevelle in front. I had to go down to a 215/60/15 to stop that.

thanks highlandlake for your quick reply! i will try this. im more worried about the rear like your chevelle , its limited wheelwell space and the last thing i want to do is cut and alter. im really trying to be conservative on the tire size because of that. i just wanted more meat than my original stock skinny tires, thus the 215-60-15. yeah maybe someone can chime in with their experiences? hope so.

The 235/60/15's did not have any clearance issues on the rear of the Chevelle. There was plenty of room, it was the front that was limited and it had new stock size springs all the way around. I don't know what the dimensional differences on the Nova are, they might be the same as a Chevelle rear wheel well because the styling is more open on a Nova? But the 215's are a good fit now. I also have 15 x 7's on all four.

I have 225/60/15's on my 71 Nova all around and they have no rubbing issues what so ever. Although they are not BFG's.
