Yeah, I'm not sure what you're talking about...

Even so, who cares? You have it now, thats all that matters.

What the hell is he talking about?...

8k does seem a tad bit high for those kind of miles though...

Probably because I have a 99 eclipse RS with half the miles , sparkling new condition , rebuilt motor when purchased , rims , a few add ons here and there , mp3 head unit , slotted rotors , short throw shifter , new glass for only 2,500.

Now considering its a base model - Knocks down the value.
Considering a the GSX is almost 12 years old , has 118 K prone to problem area , and its got NOS which means its probably been beaten on.

I could have gotten a 1995 GSX for 4K about a month ago with only 106,000.
PS - If anyones interested , the guy down the road has it for sale in his driveway so if you want it let me know lol XD

I wont hide in the dark, it was me. I dont think thats a fair price and wouldnt pay that much at all. Maybe your hometown in Canada has a extreme price, but if I remember correctly my original estimation was like 3k. Mazdax estimated 4k. But hey man, who cares. You got the car. If I would have known my talon would have engine probelms like this (4 days after I bought it) I wouldnt have paid jack s***. Just my opinion.

IN Canada DSM"S pull in a huge premium most the cars are 2k+ then what you would pay despite our dollar being higher. It has to do with border taxes and importing them from illinois jacks up the price. Not to mention the rarity here far exceeds that of DSM's in the states. If it was 8k in canada for a gsx he actually got a really good deal. Just look at autotrader.ca for prices.

I guess I never understood how cheap cars are around here. Nice. Although housing cost a sh** load more than many places. When I moved from SC we lived in a 5 bedroom/3 bath house on the beach which was nice as hell. Here we pay over twice as much for a 5bed/2bath decent house on the POS Mississippi River.

You may as well worry about your car getting hit by a drunk driver. As long as your not an idiot with the car, you will be fine.
