Nice work so far... 1 bit of criticism... the engine compartment CF looks a little too shiney and uneven in the pics... not sure if its just the pics...
OT but I noticed you use a 6280, same as me :cwm27:

^^^
what he meant to say was; it looks like your choice of carbon fibre decal is not the best in terms of scale.

Pick pick It still looks good to me an now that I see how good the kits is MAN I've got to get that kit thanks for posting your photo's are nice an clear an shows the detal well, You did the interior realy well. Some of us dont rely know how to give any one helpful comments with out it coming across bad. A lot of them like what you did here but they some times get cot-up in pointing out only the cons of a build an not the Pro's they mean well some of the time. As for me I have hit the same thing, I think you did and that's some times the Company is out of the type of CF you need so you get what you can "so" it's not just right still grat work. Hay I tryed to make my own CF it's so sorry an see through I have to put on two layers to make it come out right.
I take it by your heading your doing it as a GT-Build mmmm......... from the game Gran Turismo (Hong Kong) track I'm just asking.

I had trouble reading the post above, but I think I see the point, which I will have to disagree with. The criticism pertaining to the carbon fiber decals is merely constructive. Your build will benefit from CF decals that have a defined pattern and ones that are closer to 1/24 scale. I recommend the Scale Motorsport CF decals - http://www.scalemotorsport.com . I also recommend that you use plenty of decal softening solution to get the decals to conform to the complex shapes around the engine bay. Other than that, your build is impeccable and please don't get down on the comments, we're just trying to help :)

Nice build so far.
Are you gonna drill the brake discs? I started on mine but it's pretty hard, the plastic tends to break and the holes are not regurlaly positionned...

the holes also look a little big.
i'm hoping that someone will make a decent PE set for this and proper mesh parts for the engine bay.

oh thanks for all good friends comments.. I am fully agree my carbon fiber is on wrong scale..haha.... i think i have to redo it once i found the right scale.. that is why i stop the body's carbon fiber part. Does anyone can give some directions what to do on the body left right side???
About the brake disk that is what Revell normally having the very bad outlook on the disk.. i am thinking to make another one on my own....
Overall this kit is not bad to me... the alloy wheels fitting to the rubber is better than the 612 already...
anyway, thanks for all comments..

Hey
Good job so far! I was just wondering what colour you used for the body. I'm planning to do the same on my R8, but I'm having a bit of trouble selecting paint. Thx!

That interior looks awesome!
What is on the head unit LCD to give it that look?
It looks like it is on!

I just want to see a few more of these get built before I decide to get one. Your car looks pretty good so far. I can't comment on your carbon fiber skills being that I never used CF before. I think the car look good but like Fujimi, the wheels are too small so aftermarket wheels will probably look better on the car. Will you put other wheels on it when you finish it? Good luck.
