I am going to be doing the inner and outer tie rods on a 99 cav 2.2. I have two wrenches from a friend for the inner tie rods and found out when i bought the new ones home that the inners don't have a
'nut" type end. There is two flat spots on the end any suggestions on how to get them off, or better yet how to get them on and tight. off ain't too bad cause i don't have to worry about damaging it cause its comming off just wondering about putting them back on any suggestions before i start:banghead:

Lock the rear nut in which the outter tie rod is wedged up against real hard, Put a wrench on the outter tie rod and the inner side nut and use it for leverage. If the nut gives way, make it tighter and then counter spin the outter tie rod off. Might try some PB blaster for a lil help.
