I cleaned my engine yesterday, at the local coin op car wash. After I cleaned it the car wouldn't start at first but after a couple of tries it did. Now today, it won't start at all. When I turn the ignition to access. the radio plays, when I turn it to the on position, or press the brake pedal, all the electric cuts out. Any info would be greatly appreciated, the engine should be thoroughly dry now shouldn't it???

Mine is a 92, and the wiring may be different, but: I think pushing on the brake pedal should have No Affect Whatever on what happens in the rest of the electrical system. I would think you had a bad connection under the hood. Either on the battery cables or terminals, or in the fuse box. Its right next to the battery on mine, and has a main fuse (100amp) that bolts in. The bolts arent easy to see. I would check all of the fuse and harness connections for being tight.
When you turn on the ignition all of the accessories will shut off - but the brake lamps, the dome lamp, the running lights, should all remain on - as far as I know.
When you are checking electrical connections under the hood - dont neglect the negative side of the battery. Mine had a non-simple ground connector with several wires running to it. I eventually dismantled that connector, and soldered all of the smaller wires in it to a new ground cable.

Ditto on the battery connection... possibly the starter.
In the future, do yourself a favor and disconnect the battery before washing the engine, and take extra care not to soak the electrical parts.

You may have gotten the engine fuse box wet. It is reccommended that you cover the ignition coils and alternator before washing the engine. You may have anything wet from the constant control relay module to the electronic engine control. Some of these compontents are sealed and may have gotten moisture into them under pressure. If this is the problem they won't dry out overnight.
