as some of u know i have a 1990 eagle talon tsi with a evo 3 motor well ive decided to take it to a shop seeing how i cant figure out wat is wrong with it. i am also going to put a grangd or so into it when i do this so wat kind of pistons, rods, possibly a new crank shaft and all the bearings lol should i use. my uncle has a 1990 GMC Syclone with 900 whp to all 4 and he si using eagle rods, and wiseco pistons and he's has draged his syclone scince he got it lol wich was like 3 years ago and he still has them in it lol so i was thinking of using those and ive heard some good hings about the skunk 2 intake manifold wat do u guys think about it

It really comes down to preference when you go with aftermarket parts. when I did my 2.3 stroker I used JE pistons and Eagle Rods, Wiseco is of course another reputable brand.
In a 1g, there is no reason to use a skunk 2 manifold. If you want some extra power get your stock 1g manifold ported. It will flow almost as good as any aftermarket manifold.
You can use a stock crank unless you plan on making 450+ ponies.
As for bearings, Clevite all the way. Use ARP for studs and hardware.
