CD changer problem in 2003 Z71

My Bose 6 disc cd changer in my truck giving me problems. When I load a CD, it tries to load it and then says "check disc." It usually loads on the second try, but then it might play for a minute and start cutting out. I use only CD-R discs. Has anyone else had this problem?

Have you tried using a real CD? The CD player might be having problems reading the CD-R's.

That or you need to clean the lens with a CD cleaner
