I switched my sterring column in my grand caravan from a 1990 to a 1992 column. I had high low beams since I installed it last year and then all of a sudden I have no low beam just high beam. I changed the bulbs to the hids 4 months ago and the low high beams still worked they just all of a sudden stopped working on low beam. checked bulbs they are ok checked checked fuses they are ok. my high beam lows work on the same lever as turn signals. I am usually pretty good at fixing my own problems but I am lost for what to do next. I was going to change the whole assemble but seems like a big step if I dont need to any advise out there would be appreciated.:runaround:

I would be careful ,I have heard of people melting the light sockets because those burn hotter and draw more juice , just something to check if they crap out again in the future . I already think something happened as the possibility of having 2 front headlights burn out at the same time is pretty remote .

Yes they are not the true hids as those are illegal in canada they are the next best thing for briteness we can legally use up here and as for them both burning out together i do think that it happened when I was working on the wireing before and i accidentally shorted out some wires behind the fuse panel trying to hook up my remote alarm door locks but thank you for your input:wink:
