Well my gf liked the first one she went and bought another one..This time she wants it full custom :grinyes:. Haha Lifted box! It is going to be straight axled..I have almost all the suspension done, it is pretty realistic although some parts are not totally real and could actually work, but she really likes it so thats what matters! Here is what it is sorta looking like, should have more pictures up Wed night and all weekend!

Um, wow. You are going to have to do a lot of work on this one. Did you score a transfer case and driveshafts for the axles? What engine are you throwing in there os is it the stock 4 banger? Don't forget to cut the arches for the tires to tuck up into when flexing. Will stay tuned.

I am going to try to convert it to rear wheel drive or all wheel..The fenders are not going to be cut, it is for show..Its for my girlfriend going up on her shelf. If anyone has diagrams on how to convert this to rear wheel drive or anything I would much appreciate it because I have no idea how to do that...Thanks!!

Just get a driveline from another kit. You need the engine (if you want) transmission and a transfer case if you want 4-wheel drive. Just make room for it all and add a driveshaft. It is easy if you have all of that stuff.

Hey, thanks, I sorta figured it out. I put the driveline on and just sorta made a fake transfer case...Its more for show on her shelf so I don't wanna rip it all apart as I don't have tons of time to build with school, and I would like to get it done for her..Id say its pretty accurate and you cant tell until you flip it over and look hard! Thanks guys! Should have more pics up soon! Happy Thanksgiving everyone

Thanks guys!! Sorry the update is late, my dad was using the camera for work...So I have all the suspension work done, I think it is pretty close to realistically resembling this..Its my first suspension that is lifted and clean like this! I am very proud of it actually. I layed down the paint, Tamiya TS-19, I think it turned out great, going to polish it today probably! Well here are the pics!

Damn good job on that conversion there! I am in no way an expert, but that would be one troublesome driveshaft, lol. Still though, great work. Love the shocks. If it is not too late the rears could be move more perpendicular to the rear axle. But that is me being anal. Love what you have done.

Hey thanks! Ya the shocks are done...Its where they sorta fit best, this thing was really time consuming, and it seemed if they were placed where they are it makes some sence and the driveshaft, ya haha talk about a project! Its for my gf, I built it to my best ability from what I have learned so far, I didn't know one thing about suspension 6 months ago, and now I learned all this, Im pretty happy. Thanks for the comment! I really appreciate it!
