can any one tell me if I can put put 245/50/16's on my 97 z3 with out having any problems

I think that they're just a bit fat! I have 17s, and can barely clear 245/45/17 RFT (factory recommends 245/40/17 on the rear, but Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S RFT are fatter).
