Front end swap?

I was just wondering, How difficult would it be to switch a 2000 Cavalier's front end to the 2003-2005 Cavalier front? Obviously a new bumper, headlights, and hood would be necessary, but would it be that difficult?

Hood, front bumper, crush guard, headlights..

Remove hood, headlights and headlight bracket. ( i'm not sure if the 03+ have a headlight bracket as big as the 00-02 did). Remove front bumper. Drill out rivets that hold the crush guard onto the steel bumper reinforcement. Remove Steel bumper and with bolts and washers, install new crush guard onto steel bumper. Install new front bumper, headlights, hood...

thats pretty much it.

That's pretty much what I thought you had to do. Now its just deciding whether the 03-05 front end looks better or whether to add a lip to my Z24 bumper or even a body kit. I'm totally torn :banghead: .

the regular cavy's front ends dont look that good i.m.o. if u could find one i would go with an ls sport front end. either that or just get a lip for yours.

Well, I think I'm going to go search a junk yard in hopes to find a 03-05 Cavalier which I can snag the front end and hood off of and if so add a RKSport front Valance. To me, the 03 generation Cavalier front on a convertible would look pretty nice. Now if I can't find one, I'll probably go with a Wings West Type-W lip kit. I want to give my Z24 a little more look but I'm not a fan of huge grill body kits, personally. I'd love to hear any suggestions too.
