I am about to finish my R34, ( i will try to have the pics up by the end of the month) and fo rmy next project I want to make the Tamiya RX7 with engine detail, I was wondering, since i plan to make some bigger turbos i was wondering how to make those pieces of rubber with clamps that hold the pipes together, also what should i make a rollcage out of, lastly i want to make some sort of body kit, what kind of putty do i need and my hobby shop only sells like 10 inch long strips of styrene is that ok to use??

For the rubber clamps..I think some rubber bands cut to length might look right.
For the rollcage, why not use the part trees? They're round and most of us have so many that we could build a 1:1 rollcage!

I wouldn't actually recommend using parts trees to build a roll cage, they are too thick and it probably won't look to scale.
If you can get hold of Evergreen or Plastruct styrene they make a 3/32"(2.4mm) diameter round that is the right scale diameter to match roll cage tubing(I have checked it)
I hope that helps you a little.

Yea they sell those things at my hobby shop but i cant seem to find small amounts of the cards, they are all like a foot by a foot, also what kind of putty do i need to make some very minor bodywork, maybe a light conversion and an intercooler. BTW this will be my first time ordering from HLJ is the S&H included in the price or do they tell you later?

hlj adds the shipping after everything is ordered. they ship by total weight. if you want , you can figure out the shipping by adding the weight of each item, which is located on the description page for the item. then, look at the shipping prices for the weight.
hope that makes sense.
