Picked one of these up last week in Florida, anyone know if its a rebox of the Testors kit. It looks suspiciously familia to it other than the instructions actually make sense

It's based on the same tooling as the Testors Charger Daytona and R/T kits. Revised body (no more side molding, new hood), SRT-8 engine, gauge face decals, and new wheels/tires. And a significantly lower retail price. I would question why anyone would want a Testors Charger now, unless they finally issue the police car that's been promised for so long and still is MIA.
Glad to hear it has instructions that may actually make sense now. The ones in my Daytona were a joke.

After seeing a local law-dog Charger up close today (luckily it was a friend not a ticket) I can't wait to build one. And as Bob can testify the new Georgia State Patrol units look pretty darn good....silver with ghost decals and no light bars.

I haven't seen that one. I don't know how many colors the GA State Patrol is running on Chargers; I've seen one in the traditional blue/white, black, and last weekend in gray metallic near Newnan. All have orange lettering.
Yesterday I saw a white unmarked Charger in Greenville, SC attempting to take donations from unsuspecting drivers; looked like a cheap rental car w/dark tinted windows. They also have a fully-marked SC highway patrol Charger in silver/blue stripes. Have to learn to spot Chargers now...get familiar w/those headlights day or night...

The last one I saw was sitting with a matching Excursion state DTF so it could very well be the "pursuit" car.
