Center tail light

I have try to take off the center tail light cover. I have removed 4 screws. Two inside the trunk lid and 2 under the license plate. It doesn't come off. I was wondering if there is something other than these screws holding it on? 91 Continental. Thanks

I'm 99% sure the center panel is only a reflector.

On the Town Cars, 1995 / 1997 some had light bulbs in those panels, but most did not. My 1996 does not.

If you can get the panel out, break the sealed assembly in half.. some folks did retrofit LED strips in there..
