Please Help with Security System

I need help ASAP like yesterday. I was told to make duplicate keys and have had a problem with the trunk key duplicate. I accidently triggered the alarm system -- I double-checked the original trunk key when the duplicate didn't work, before unlocking the door. The trunk won't lock, the car won't start, and the Security Systems light on the dash blinks. I can't reset the system even after holding the OFF and RED UP TEMP arrow at the same time.

Welcome to AF, what year is this? Put the key in the door lock, lock it then open it with the key, this is how the older sec system works, not knowing what you have. Off and warm diagnostic check will not have any effect on wht you are doing.
