How do I go about replacing the pipe that holds the thermostat under the water pump that hooks up to the radiator hose? Thank You in advance.:screwy:

Welcome to AF.
no need to post diplicate threads.

Thier should be a metal tab coming off the pipe thats bolted to the oil pan.
Then the two nuts holding the pipe up to the engine.

Hope that helps

I could unbolt it. But I cant figure out how to shimmy it out from between the motor and automatic trans. Sorry about posting it twice being new I didnt know if I had to post it again in another catagory. Thank You.

Ok, is the trans-to-engine mount in the way ?
Some models that mount needs loosed to get it out,
but it should pull pretty much straight down.
Its a tight fit thats for sure!

There is not any room for the thermostat pipe top to come out. Seems like either I have to move the trans, or remove the axle and front portion of the trans. There has to be a easier way to get out of this ?><%$#@ hole I got into? Who ever designed this part never must have looked at a car. Thank You.:banghead:

If you read my post above...

thiers an engine-to-transmission mount bracket probly in the way.
THAT needs removed also to get the craxy pipe out.
