I tried thinking of a way to hook up a air compressor of some kind to the intake pipe and just hook up some kind of nozel to regulate and dispense the air, but never actually tried it. That really doesn't soundlike a bad idea, but how much air can it really put out? Really it's a good idea in an attempt to make more power and even to make it out of plastic isn't really a bad idea either. I wouldn't buy it but the idea is pretty cool.

It would be interesting to see if it would actually give any boost off. It may work on like a 1.6 honda motor.

CFM output on that is probably so insignificant...more weight , no more powa.
It's more of a head trick and power of suggestion that anything :/ theres also no tech data on them for a reason i'm assuming.

Depending on the car you use it on you may run lean. If you were to put that on a 420a motor and got 1-2 psi out of it the ECU wont add any more fuel. And you would run lean untill you hit fuel cut at 2-3psi.

I'd try it out on the talon if somebody gave it to me. But, as far as paying for it, you'd have an easier time building a time machine and killing the person who came up with that idea before they invented it.

Electric super-chargers/turbos don't put anywhere enough power to even make a mark. As Silver said, if (and I do mean IF) it actually hit 1-2psi, it does nothing. You guys seen the video of the people sitting a leaf-blower in the intake of a honda or something on a dyno? That made power, but not much... and that has more power than anything.

You guys are just jealous. I bought 6 of them... Yeah right total, complete, and utterly worthless in my opinion. I think you stand a better chance at gaining horsepower by changing your spark plugs and doing an oil change. Probably see more of a horsepower gain than you would ever see off of that cheap pos.

This may not be to bad if you had 1 TB per cylinder setup and used 1 of these turbo things per cylinder. A little expensive but it may work then. No turbo lag

That shit would probably inhibit factory flow. There's no way it would spin fast enough to even match what the motor pulls in while N/A, and even if it could spin that fast, it would heat up so fast that the plastic would melt right away. You'd be lucky if you didn't get a piece or chunk of plastic in your motor because of that.

Its a 2.0 liter engine, at the wheels pulling 280 on natural aspiration? Thats a alot in copmarison to some cars pushing over 10psi of boost that can't reach that right? Its naturally (or unnaturally, lol) aspirated without steroids, its a BAMF!

Yea those are really good numbers. I wonder how much you can gain by going to a quad TB set up. Ha people tried to make one for the 420a, but I dont think anyone ever finished it. Not a whole lot of room back there.
