question about spray paint?

I was wondering why pearl color spray paint need another other coat of clear? What happed if I don't spray another clear coat to the body?

If you polish the paint, you remove the top surface of the paint - in pearl a lot of the effect in the paint is contained in that top layer thus meaning polishing the paint will remove the effect. When you clear coat, if you polish the paint you're removing the clear, not the color/pearl coat.

The thing I recommend is research, research, research......go to the search tab on the top of the bar and find out as much as you can about painting and polishing. These guys are experts and many as myself have learned the hard way. You will save yourself alot of frustration and time. Good luck man!
