06 grand-caravan flasher+DRL

My brother in law is having a weird problem! When is turn signal works, the DRL shuts off, when the flasher stops blinking the DRL comes on again!
After a while of driving, when he signal to the right, the left flasher bkinks!
Can someone please help me with this problem

Its not a problem that is the way chrysler handles the drl now , by temporarily shutting off the drl it gives more contrast to the blinker so you can see it better . That is normal operation and i have seen it on other chryslers , must be in Canada if you have drl's .

But there is still the problem that when he signals right it blinks on the left when hot!

Turn signal switch, combination flasher module, Forward Controler, Body Control Module. He'll need a meter and schematics to troubleshoot. Is it out of warranty already?

He is the second owner, so he does not know yet. But i think that unless a warranty was bought separatly, it does not follow the vehicule but the owner, but i'm not sure!

Hey Northdan;
I own an 05' Caravan SXT. The original warranty is transferable to the new owner for a fee. You can also purchase your own stand alone warranty. Your van should be covered either way. Check your paperwork.
It sounds like an issue with the body control module to me. Good luck!
