Fog light

On FAQ's +98 Isuzu Quesiton #25 about "How do I keep my fog lights on with high or low beams? (http://isuzufaq.ibctech.ca/#faq25) "
My question is, I installed a aftermarket fog lights and I want the fog lights to light/power on when the parking light is on; "before the low beams". How would I do that?
Currently the postive (+) wire is connected straight to the battery and the negative (-) is ground to the car. So I have a fog light swtich to turn it on and off. But I want the fog light connect straight to the parking light. (instead of me manually clicking the fog light swtich)
Has anybody done it on their rodeo? I looked up on other website and can't find any.
My rodeo is 2000 V6 4wd auto.
Thanks!
Ken

Thats the way mine are, always done them that way. I hope you are using a relay and not just direct power through the switch.
Wire it like in this diagram except where it shows the green wire to the switch going to the headlamp you want to connect it to a green wire with red stripe (illumination circuit).

I used the green/red wire that goes to the plug for the factory fog light switch. HERE (http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic.php?t=7583) is a post I made about the install I did on mine. Shows which wire I connected in to. If you dont want a switch at all (I prefer having a switch though its almost always on) then connect what they show as the yellow wire to the green/red illumination circuit wire.

Thanks, my question is. Yes, I am using a relay but I want the fog light to turn ON when the parking light is turn ON. Do I just connect the postive wire from the fog light relay and just connect it to one of the wire of parking light? but I am not sure what wire from the parking light... :banghead:

It has been a few years but I have done this mod before. Look at diagram up top. I think there were 3 wires from my kit. One to battery, one to chassis ground, and the third coming from the relay (yellow in diagram) that you have to splice and tap to either the left or right side wire coming from the parking lamp. So each time you turn on parking lamp, your fogs will come on without the use of a separate switch. I hope that answers your question.

but I am not sure what wire from the parking light.
It would be the green wire with red stripe. If you dont want a switch then just connect the wire from the relay (yellow in the diagram above) to the green with red strip wire from the marker light (or any green with red stripe, they all get power from the same place).
