Ok, so I decided against rear discs for now

But I got a pair of Prelude 2.0 Si buckets instead... they feel great, they look OK, will be better when i get the rest of the interior done.

I'm going to work on the rear disc swap in pieces, buying each part as I see it cheap, from locally wrecked vehicles.. most times, if someone is taking something to gary's they'll just let you pull stuff off it before they take it.

I suppose that's a good decision. Immediate gratification since you'll be sitting on it ;) How much cheaper do you want for the rear disc conversion? Last time I checked (over a year ago) they're only $100 for the set...plus maybe a new e-brake cable (not necessary) if the donor is good.

I'm not getting the e-brake cable anyway, doing a full e-brake delete for a hydraulic 4-wheel lockup unit. (it's lighter, and it's safer.)

I can get the hubs/spindles/calipers from gary's for around $50, then buy the rotor's new, w/ a rebuild/reseal kit for the calipers, but like I said, I can pry get all the parts free, if I wait around long enough. stupid kids wreck 'tegs here all the time, so parts are pretty easy to come by.

Oh, and the outside rails on the Prelude seats bolt right into any Civic/CRX of the same generation, (88-91), but the inside rails need modification according to your vehicle, 88-89 sedan, 88-89 CRX, 88-89 Hatch, all different.

The mod isn't hard, I bolted the outside rails down right in the parking lot, so I could take the old LX (red) seats back for the 1.00 core each.

The seats that I got are black w/blue wide pinstripes, a common color of Preludes... Next, I'm thinking about changing the back seat over for the 'lude or 'teg seats, if I can find the 'teg's either flat black, or in the same color as the 'lude.

Any Del Sol's out there? :)

I just got through pulling the rear trailing arms off my teg for a friend...I hate doing the ebrake cable. And ofcourse, like every other Honda Trailing arm, the bushing is shot to hell(knew that before I even looked at it) The car is going to the scrapyard tomorrow. :)

he doesn't actually need those trailing arms.. you can just bolt the spindles onto the trailing arms that he already has on his car.. and it doesn't throw off the suspension.. the only thing that you're changing is the spindle, and it's actually the same size.

I'll get pics of those 'lude seats installed, and put them up in my pics thread
pry tomorrow or something
