97 Caravan 3.0L Cold no idle

Whenstarting our Caravan, 97 3.0l SE, It won't idle unless I put a little pressure on the gas pedal. Lift off the pedal and it will stall. Once it warms up it idles fine. No codes stored either....Thanks in advance :banghead:
Oh i also pulled the IAC valve and cleaned it

Try to stabilize the idle at 800 rpm then turn on the A/C. If the idle changes the IAC valve/motor is working. Should do the same when you disconnect the IAC connector. The IAC port in the throttlebody could be clogged. Buy a spray can of throttlebody cleaner and clean it. If it's working you may have a massive vacuum leak. Was any maintenance performed just prior to this problem?

No we didn't do any maintenence prior to this problem. I should have mentioned that since this started about 3 weeks ago the CE light is on and showing code 72 catalytic converter....don't believe the two are related
