Put the wheels on my modena today only to find the front left sits off the ground about a mm or less, push it down and the back right lifts off, bloody tamiya. Worked out it must be the interior tub as it didn't sit right on the chassis and was held down with rubber bands when glued but that should of been the end of it, now i'll have to pull it apart and get replacement parts or live with it. cause its pretty hard to notice anyway, oh well shit happens.:mad:

Sounds like something that would come from AMT. It is fairly rare getting mold problems from Tamiya.

When I read the title, I was hoping to see pics of a twisted modena body.

After building two Tamiya Modena's with chassis that went together flawlessly, I can't imagine what went wrong. Usually, if the chassis and/or body has a slight warp it will all straighten out when the body is mated to the chassis. I do recall spot glueing the chassis to the bodies in order for all chassis edges to be hidden within the body.:rolleyes:

I've also built two Modenas, and everything on the interior/chassis fit perfectly, w/just a tiny bit of glue required in the rocker panel area. In fact these kits both had flawless "four point" wheel assemblies w/o any tweaking necessary. Time to do some detective work...

I'd check all the parts to see if there's an interference problem, or if one of the four wheels may have been mis-glued or isn't completely seated. Does the chassis sit flat on all four wheels before attempting to assemble to the body? Was it checked beforehand? Is the chassis straight, or warped? It should be relatively easy to see if it is or isn't. I tend to spend a significant amount of time on many models making sure they sit properly on all four wheels, and I test the fit before final assembly. I've learned that's the best way to avoid problems.
