S2000 is an accident prone car.

cant feel too bad... once you get the mud off it cant be that bad... the damage doesnt look too horrible, and besides, in mud, it aint so bad... but i feel the same... journalist on slick roads... bastards... not only do they drive nice cars, they crash em...

Poor S2k... I feel for that car. The driver must have been doing something stupid to run into a mound of dirt!

How did the driver get out? All the windows seem to be intact....:confused:

It didn't have seats, so we had to just lean in to look at stuff. The center piece is really high off the floorboard. :eek:

i think if you just crashed you wouldn't be concerned about how tough it is getting out.... plus that could have been his only way out

I didn't say concern. I said it's almost impossible for big tall guys to get out of the car through center console. Anybody over 6 feet will have trouble.

well no matter how big the person is, he'll have to get through there anyway, to get out :D :D

Yea i agree....that's terrible. There was definitley some excessive speed involved in this race.:D

The right front wheel doesn´t touch the ground anymore because most of the front is stuck deeply into the soil! .....but the damage won´t be that bad..... the whole chassis might be distorted, but who cares? You don't need excessive speed to lose the rear end of S2000.

You know what you guys....he wrecked the car, opened the top, crawled out, then opened the door and closed the top.

It's actually quite funny how we're trying to figure out what's going on from a simple pic.

how did he get the front end up in the air like that?, he hit a ramp or something....?...looks like he was flying when he hit it

1. It's easy to lose the rear-end on an s2000.
Honestly, it doesn't matter. the driver didn't lose the rear end. He lost the front-end by going into a turn too fast and slamming on the brakes. Look at the curve of the road and the direction the front tires are facing. The car's front wheels came loose and the car just drifted right into that mound. Bummer.

2. How is his front wheel up in the air?
The s2000 has a 50-50 weight distribution from front to rear. The other three wheels are touching the ground in one way or another. In this position, the weight is mostly balanced, and the front-right wheel can remain up in the air without trouble. Especially due to being face-planted in the side of a freakin' hill! :)
