87 Fiero won't start

87 2.5 Fiero stopped running (yes, on the highway). Would start momentarily with starting fluid then shut off. Fuel pump checks out OK. Changed the fuel filter. Then went more extreme and replaced the fuel pressure regulator and fuel injector. Fuel pumps to the pressure regulator, but fuel does not inject (no spray from the fuel injector). Has anyone dealt with this problem?

Have you checked for clogged injectors? or mabey you can go to a couple of sites that I just discovered. Fiero online service guide, or Fiero owners group.I have a problem of my own with a 1986 SE that suddenly started to discharge good batteries. The charge gauge goes up and down then all the lights flicker and then it dies. Can you think of a way to narrow this problem down without tearing out the wiring or replacing everything in the electrical system?
