i wa doing his spark plugs and i noticed alot of crap (oil dirt and other random stuff) in and around the plug hole.i was wondering the best way to clean them out.
another thing the car if its idleing its really rough and choppy just runs like crap any ideas. the spark plugs were clean on the heads just the threads were nasty.

compressed air is the best way to get the crud out of the spark plug recess so it doesn't fall into the combustion chamber when you remove the plug.
On the second issue, did it run like this before or after you swapped the plugs, and did you or are you replacing the plug wires too (highly recommended, especially if the wires have the cylinder numbers on them as this would indicate they are the original wires).
