Thanks alot for the compliment!!! I built it curbside, no motor! I've had some problems with my paint and I was building em curbside for awhile to get the paint down. I am pretty happy at the paint on this one!
I was getting some fisheyes in the paint and narrowed it down to the soap I was using to wash the models with!

I love it too! I was going to give some constructive crits, but you already explained why the wheels are off center to the wheel openings....paint practice. I love the color combo, the tan leather/vinyl with that teal(?) (TS, I presume) is just fantastic!

I had this same model but sold it due to the fact that the subject matter is not of greatest interest to me. However I recall that it had a fully-detailed engine and such...maybe later you could go back and install the motor! Anyways the paint turned out great, looks like you solved your troubles!

Thanks Les!
Yeah, Alex, if I didn't work so much I'd have jacked up the motor pretty good, that is my favorite part about building, the detail work. My paint has always been an issue!!!! thanks to you guys and the exhaustive resaearch i've done here on the many painting and polishing threads, you guys were the ticket. Now I can build and feel more confident that my models are coming together much better these days!
