I have a friend that has an 05 Durango and he said that both of the Key fobs just stoped working. (one at a time.) I think that if you try to use them out of range that will throw them out of wack. Thats the way it is on my Audi. Is there a way that he can reprogram them without going to the Dealer and paying $200?

The answer is no and Chrysler's factory scan tool,DRB III has to be used to program them.Try to find someone with a Vetronix Mastertech scan tool,Vetronix which was bought out by Bosch came out with a program to for programing the keys and keyfobs which goes for $1500.00.
